A Card that Does it All
NFC Forum is currently advocating the use of contactless credit cards (Visa, MC), and
mobile phones (Nokia and Motorola) embedded with smart chips that make it easy for consumers to spend their hard earned money with a simple wave at tap-n-go terminal, so a concept like this one from Plusminus may not be so far-fetched. Multifunctional Credit Cards will be able to combine a mobile phone, credit cards, and keys into one credit card sized device. Dima Komissarov plans to incorporate other great features to this all-in-one gadget such as video phone, GPS sytem, remote control, and even provide access to a remote computer. The device will require a fingerprint authorization for safety reasons, if the card needs to be used for payment or as a key.

The built in program will prompt an optimum variant for discounts at the given payment place. - The remote control for any device. It can simultaneously display a teleschedule and recommendations of your favourite site. - Keys from doors of houses and cars you have an authorization to. - GPS-system that can automatically upload aerial photos from the Internet. - Library, video- and music shop. You can read, listen to and whatch all that at your choise. Go to a public online library or buy all that you want in any shop of the world. - Gaming device with support of network gaming (remember that you have a GPS and the virtual reality becomes quite real). - Even your computer that works with any operational system that is beeng uploaded through the Internet. For any actions connected with safety (payment, opening of a door, ...) the device authorizes you by reading your fingerprints.
